Dark Purple Evening Eye Makeup

With a few new palettes in my collection, I decided to experiment and create a dramatic evening look. This is quite dark and Gothic but I reckon it can suit a lot of skin tones and anyone with brown eyes will love this look. Most of the shadows I used are from the Naked Chocolate palette by Makeup revolution. So to begin, I used the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in the shade Metallic Pomegranate as a base all over the lid - but avoiding the crease area. I use the elf contour bamboo brush to pack this on as I find it's the best way to get the most pigment out of it. I then used a Zoeva 227 brush to blend Milky from the Naked Chocolate palette  into the crease and also blending the gorgeous pomegranate shade. To add a bit more depth I went in with Blank Canvas Cosmetics E32 brush and applied a mixture of Sweet shop and then Choc-fest - trying to control the colour and stay in the contours of the crease. I then went over with a clean Zoeva 227 brush to blend this all together. With my finger I tapped a small amount of Way in the center just to make the whole look stand out. Then I did a normal thin winged liner with my beloved Collection fast stroke liquid liner. I decided I wanted this to be more smokey and dramatic so I took the elf eye shadow brush and slightly blended that winged liner with Corrupt from Makeup Geek. Finally, I lined my upper and lower waterline with Maybelline's Master Drama eyeliner in the shade ultra black and applied Kiko's Ultra Tech Curve curling mascara on my top and bottom lashes. I love the way this turned out and would definitely wear it on a night out. Let me know what lipstick you would team this eyelook with. I think I would go for something neutral like Maybelline's Moisture Renew in Notting Hill Nude.
